’Told You Not To Eat Me’ Original Painting
Original Artwork
Size: 30 × 30 × 4 cm
Medium: Acrylic on canvas
This piece uses the motif of a weeping poisonous apple, a symbol of temptation and forbidden knowledge, to capture the poignant moments of regret and realisation. It reflects on the inevitable troubles we bring upon ourselves through our choices - could they have been avoided, or were those experiences essential for growth? The painting conveys the anguish of hindsight and the bitterness of lessons learned too late.
About the ‘Three Colours +’ Series
This series captures the essence of my inner world and the philosophy I have gathered over a lifetime. I use black, gold, and white as the primary colours, reflecting my enduring fascination with the shapes and shadows of nature. Sometimes, additional background colours enhance the composition. This painting is the 5th piece in the series, created in 2022.
